Macey and her new little brother Tommy

I was first invited by Jemma to come and photograph her first born a couple of years ago when she was born. This time is was to capture the new addition, Tommy, and the new relationship between the two of them. A two year old and a newborn baby can be tricky as 2 year olds. especially girls are not easier manipulated into doing what you would like them to do (sit quietly with their newborn sibling, kiss him, hold his hand, sing him a song) rather than what they would like to do (jump on the bed, poke their nebown sibling in the eyes, ears and nose, shout, run around and just be a two year old :-). You have to get their attention and trust within the first 10 minutes of arriving and work for it.

Luckily we managed to get some beautiful photos and moment of the both individually and together. It will be amazing to capture them again in their next stage when Tommy will be strong enough to hold his own!
