A Bond That Lasts a Lifetime: Annie, Lukey and Sandy

This shoot with Annie and her beautiful horse Lukey was exactly that. From the moment we arrived, it was clear just how strong their bond is. Every gentle touch, every look, every calm moment together spoke of time spent building trust and understanding. Capturing that connection was a joy — the kind of session that feels calm, meaningful and full of heart.

Alongside Lukey was someone just as important to Annie’s story — her very first pony, Sandy. Now in her thirties, Sandy has been part of Annie’s journey from the very beginning. She may be older, but the love and respect between them is timeless. Photographing Annie with Sandy felt like capturing a chapter of her childhood, frozen forever in images she will treasure for years to come.
