One of the things I love most about being a newborn photographer in London is meeting wonderful families and hearing their stories about those early weeks with their new babies. Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing three gorgeous newborns whose parents all met through the same NCT group in Putney.
It’s always special when families come to me through recommendations, but this was particularly lovely. Three expectant mums from the same Putney NCT group got in touch to book newborn sessions once their little ones arrived. It was such a joy to capture these precious early moments for families who had already formed such a strong bond during pregnancy.
What Is an NCT Group?
For anyone expecting a baby in the UK, you may have heard of NCT (National Childbirth Trust) classes. These antenatal classes are designed to help parents-to-be prepare for birth, early parenthood, and life with a newborn.

This particular Putney NCT group clearly formed a wonderful connection, and it was so lovely to see their friendship continue after their babies arrived.
Three Beautiful Babies in Putney
Over a few weeks, I welcomed three beautiful newborns and their families for their sessions. Each baby was completely unique, yet all equally adorable.
Those early newborn days pass by so quickly, which is why capturing them is so special. Tiny fingers, sleepy yawns, delicate eyelashes — these fleeting details change before you know it.
Seeing three families who had shared their pregnancy journey now cuddling their newborns was incredibly heartwarming. The love, pride, and excitement in the room during each session was simply magical.
